You're killing me...! Whoa...
Mavety St., E. side, S. of Dundas St. W. ....1956 ......TPL
Let me guess, the now reused TPL 11 Division replaced it?

OK, I recognize the ferry...but was it headed across the Lake to Niagara?

The Canadian Room-Royal York Hotel 1960 LAC
Is that a painting, or a highly saturated or retouched Polaroid perchance?

I have a photographer friend visiting from Holland again, she's in Montreal this week, went to a number of the photo exhibits last week but next week we're headed to the TPL to find historical photos. I'm not counting my chick peas until the cockerel crows salad on what we come away with. I'll be posting something good here. In fact, I should ask her to. She has a fascination for Toronto.

I remember visiting the Arcade (as a child) and being fascinated by the window display in a Magic Shop.
Too bad there's no photo in the archives of that window display.
Perhaps we need to photograph today's displays for the amazement of future generations.

Dominion Bank run 1923
I was just Googling to research that, I find it so fascinating, and this was six years from "the Crash", so one wonders if the Home Bank (the last federally regulated (chartered bank) failure in Canada) was associated with this, and if this was a 'precursor' for what was to come? https://torontoist.com/2013/08/historicist-the-home-banks-house-of-cards/
Anyway, this showed in my Google search:

Amazing what will pop up online, isn't it?
That guy (Goldie) must be obsessed by bank failures!
