I think it looked better with the open plaza and space around it. Now you can't see it for the trees. Cut them down.

that's looks like a kind of hidden gem of a neighbourhood. reminds me of old scarborough--guildwood parkway, poplar road, greyabbey trail etc...

I love this street - only partially stucco-monsterized - but I wonder what it would be like to live in perpetual shade?

As beautiful a neighbourhood as it is, I'm always struck by the lack of sidewalks.

Granted, the car was the be-all mindset back then, but it just is not good fundamental urban planning to completely ignore the pedestrian aspect. How is it in winter with the street further constricted due to snow banks and slush puddles?
