I think that's the area of East York where I grew up.

Here's an old photo that was taken near York Mills & Don Mills:

Don River to the west of Graydon Hall apartments (under construction)

I remember this house very well. About 10 years ago or so, it was still intact. The bridge was also there. I decided to check out if the house was still standing today and found that it is - but barely. The bridge is gone, but the house still remains after all these years - even if it has seen it's better days.

Here's an aerial photo dated April 29, 1942 - Goldie I think this also includes your homeland. I flipped it so north was at the top.

That wide view shows the house where I was born, the public & high schools I attended and the hospital where my first daughter was born.

Strange how little there is on the internet about Graydon Hall's builder; Rupert Bain. He seems to have been quite the mover and shaker.

It sure is a beautiful manor built in 1936 Mustapha. Like every place I go to I know nothing until I took a few photos this morning then searched the almighty internet for answers. Beautiful grounds if your up that way for a walk.
