Details on Union to Exhibition via Bremner Blvd Streetcar?

I have seen mention in various articles and in TTC reports of a Bremner Blvd streetcar. For example:

Building a Transit City expands the number of roads and corridors in which transit-only rights-of-way would be established, introduces such proposals for Toronto’s hydro corridors, and incorporates right-of-way proposals for some of Toronto’s fastest-growing development areas, including Bremner Boulevard, between Union Station and Exhibition Place
- ( from www.ttc.ca/postings/gso-c.../_conv.htm )

Does anyone know any more details on this? I'm interested to know what the proposed routing would be - where would it start at Union (north or south of the tracks), and would it run along Bremner and Fort York?

At some point, whether via Bremner or some other routing, the tracks should continue westward past the Exhibition Loop and connect with Dufferin and the Queensway to take the load off of King.

Interesting, so there would be tunnels under Front and down York street, as well under the ACC to hook up with the Bay tunnel.

Thanks for the links!

GregW:

There *might* be tunnels - the CW Part 2 plan is meant to show the general transit routes, not specifics.
