First I'd start off with every commie apartment building there is.

Since Hudson Bay Centre has already been named, first by TonyV, I'd go with:

- The power centre on Laird in East York, the one done in the faux Tex-Mex style, or whatever you would call it....

- Gerrard Square -- the makeover just emphasizes what a disaster it is and that they should have demolished the whole thing and started over.

- The UofT grad residence at the nw coner of Charles and Yonge, with its crappy interior mall.

- The Toronto Star building -- prime site, terrible building.

Buildings I wouldn't miss and would help rip apart:

- Hudson Bay tower & CIBC tower
- DELTA CHELSEA
- Toronto Star
- 180 Wellington (across from Roy Thompson Hall)
- Infinity towers 1 and 2
- the entire Pinnacle complex, including the one on the North side of the Gardiner that ins't Pinnacle but might as well be (18 Yonge I think)
- 180 Dundas (24ish story tower near Dundas/University)
- Ryerson's two tallest towers
- UofT Medical Building (just north of the new Pharmacy building)

Harbour Square is top of a very long list.

Other contenders are LuCliffe Place, Delta Chelsea Inn, Sheraton Centre, Mount Sinai Hospital, the Bay on Bloor.

Ya, leave the Plaza II apartments hanging there! I lived there for about 10 years so I have a soft spot for that corner myself. It's a great building with the best two bedroom apartments downtown (Mega-rent Manulife apartments excluded) and a dynamite location.
