Quality architecture and retail spaces at street level could have revolutionized this ghetto part of Bloor, yet this is what the city allowed to get built. I'll never understand why.
The dullness in design and blankness caused by lack of retail to animate the pedestrian realm makes this block depressing to walk by. It's a shame that even though many parts of the west end is experiencing a trendy renaissance, this particular stretch is still plagued by bad architecture.
