brick patterns

which do you like the best out of these? the patterns not the color...

LOL, there is such a thing. i think it's used in lighthouses. i think it looks the same like the american bond.
 
My first choice would be Flemish. But Running would be preferrable when the bricks are skinny/very short and long.
 
Regardless of which you like, you're unlikely to see anything but the running bond in veneer dominated new construction. Bricks turned on end actually have a structural purpose - in solid masonry walls, they bond bricks on the exterior of the wall to bricks on the interior. Since solid masonry walls are not built anymore, there's no longer a need for anything but the running bond reinforced with metal ties.

Whenever you see the other brick patterns nowadays, the bricks have more often than not been cut in half and are purely architectural.
