Brick and cobblestone streets in Toronto

Did you write staff, or the councillor, suggesting that they be left exposed or that the remaining asphalt be lifted? Not saying it would have changed anything, but ya never know.

I bet if you wrote the large property owners there and told them how much exposed heritage brick roads would add to the appeal of the area for you as a worker, or shopper.......that might just change something.

For the same reason they sometimes listen to mine.

Because other people like good ideas too.

Also, because $$ if you think Liberty Village could be cooler and more popular and you were right.....that would equal more demand for leasable space, which would equal higher rent per ft2, which would equal a bonus for the person who stole your great idea and took credit for it.

That's why! LOL

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but I was shocked to discover an example I wasn't aware of, in an area I wouldn't have suspected would have any cobblestone roads - Chiltern Hill Rd, south of Eglinton towards Dewbourne Ave (just west of Eglinton and Bathurst)!!
