I think it's still a bit early to say what the skyline presence of both Telus and RBC will finally be, but the renderings for Telus have been pretty good...
I'm more drawn to Telus, it's the glass that gives it the edge. This building would have really shone with another 15 levels to give it more prominence. I think it's going to get lost in there among acres of green mediocrity.
I'd like to see this question re-polled next spring once all three are complete.
Telus, with RBC a close second. I like the glass and I think it will be a lot more engaging at the street level. The glass "fins" going up the at the corners are a nice little feature, and will be nicer along the roof than B/A. The lantern element on RBC makes it a difficult choice between the two. If the top of RBC stepped up to the lantern like in 3D's suggestion, or even with an sloped roof at that same angle then it would take the cake. But still, I think the Telus glass steals the show imo.
close call~
both telus and rbc are perhaps architecturally (more?) interesting (ext.&int. i would think) but B/A's height trumps their meagre sophistication.
size matters-always has ,always will.
telus & rbc are merely big office buildings. and bay/adelaide just passes as a li'l 'tower'.
