Bay Adelaide Centre West Tower (Brookfield, 50s, WZMH)

November 2 Pictures, Partial PATH Opening

The PATH is now partially opened from the Bay side as far as the parking garage. You can see the food court under construction but can't go any farther.

oooohhh,,, nice shots!... it looks SO creepy inside cause it's so big and empty!

Looks like an abandoned city in one of those zombie movies:D

And the last shot reminds me of something i might have seen in the world trade centre... just a feeling of mine :rolleyes:
 
Awesome sneak peak. Thank god for urbantoronto... where else would we get previews like that?? Also, I echo the sentiments on it being eerie, due to its current emptiness.

I want the KPMG signage to go up on the tower!

OMG the base of BA will look SOOO nice in the movie!!!

*my guess is that the movie has a dark tone... someone probably jumped and died... people are crowding around a body... firetrucks there... etc... I could be WAY off... i don't know what move/tv show it is :confused:

Anyone know what movie it is!?... "I'm Gonna See it"!!!


Do you think trump might have sneaked into one of the shots?

Bay/Adelaide Centre: Stand-in for Philadelphia? Maybe...

Android: Interesting pics of the Bay/adelaide Centre standing in for Philadelphia - the movie makers got the Philadelphia street signs correct in the way of shape and their letter/number graphics with the exception of that the real signs show arrows(<> not exactly) pointing towards the two blocks at the posted location and NOT plus/minus signs and the background color is a medium green and not dark green.

Locust Street is a real street in Philadelphia but the block shown by the signs(200-300) are in the vicinity of Independence Hall/National Park in the Olde City - the three Society Hill Towers(apartments/condos) stand at 200-210-220 Locust Street.

The movie makers should have used block numbers higher then 1400(Broad Street) showing a more true location of Center City office towers.
There is NO main street in CCP named St.Clair Street as far as I know...
Was that W SNELLING AV sign part of that shoot? I know Philly streets somewhat well and I have never heard of it...

Was Bay/Adelaide standing in for the Comcast Tower perhaps as I now suspect? Insight by LI MIKE

I was in my office working Sunday when they were filming. Several police cars arrive on the scene right in front of the corner and cops jump out, scramble around, etc. I didn't see any "jumper". The cranes were really interesting to see in operation - they had two water tankers connected to each crane and a LOT of water was being pumped out as artificial rain. For some reason, BA looks better in the rain. Those trees in the planters help as well - I thought they were to stay for good when I first saw them! The original renders called for trees along Adeliade in front of the building - it would be nice to see those materialize.

Next time, get your pal The Invisible Man to do a voice-over - we see his speech bubbles popping up as he rushes around the site but no sound comes out his mouth.
