"Construction" magazine certainly is a treasure trove! Interesting that a building as grand as this Masonic Hall would have been contemplated at Spadina and Bloor in 1914, which at that time was essentially a residential suburb. They must have changed their minds and switched to the Yonge/Davenport location which began construction in 1917, with a much downsized building.
