Former Toronto Automatic Transmission Building converted to commercial space just north of King Street East.

It's a renovated former auto repair shop and a condo is planned down the road. Some people have no patience.

Several years ago on his TV 'reality' show Brad Lamb was working to buy this site plus the furniture store building on corner of King and Berkeley. The owner of the store building would not sell. Not sure if Lamb owns the auto repair site now but maestro is right, someday it will be a condo - book-ended by two historic and listed buildings. (The Alumni Theatre to the north and the furniture store building to the south.)

Brad Lamb currently does own the site, he closed on it a little more than 2 years ago.
He also bought 296 King St same time and previously bought 298 King - so he will have a nice corner development here in the future.

FYI - The Toronto Community Housing building next to this assembly does not look TOO bad considering--
