I'm going to make the arguement that Tom Jakobek has won the November 10 election.
Few took Tom's bid seriously. He was just forced out of his job in the offices of the Toronto East General Hospital because he couldn't get along with anybody. He was a major player in the MFP scandal (and later admitted to lying about accepting private flights and tickets hockey games).
Yet he was able to get even with his arch-nemesis, Barbara Hall. (The two didn't get along at all in pre-megacity Toronto). That's why he ran for the job, and why he now has little interest in the campiagn. He already won.
