    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

The balconies definitely help though - the contrast is pretty significant, thank God. Went from being hideous to Toronto Classic - just plain old uninspired.

$$$$ I find it hard to reconcile that River City/Canary District exist in the same sphere as this. What happened to standards?

    Toronto Regent Park: Daniels DuEast | 96.31m | 29s | Daniels | Core Architects

It's remarkable how quickly the area has transformed. In a few years, the historical Regent Park will be but a memory. I feel the same way about the Corktown and Cabbagetown. Completely unrecognizable from 10 years ago or so.

Monde Condominiums (Great Gulf Homes) - Real Estate -

what the fuck? How is that acceptable by any stretch. People paid hundreds of thousands for these units and Great Gulf can't be bothered to accept responsibility because 'well, the whole building is shoddy shit?'. That's totally not ok. They should be sued.

Still not clear on the issue with the interiors at Monde? Are things falling apart or did they cheap out on the features?

    Toronto Riverside Square | 64.6m | 20s | Streetcar | RAW Design

This has come together amazingly. It's especially great from the ground

What's the issue with the Monde interiors? Agreed on the Regent Park comment. ..I went by the other day and was pleasantly surprised. It's not great but far more interesting visually. I'm holding my breath and hoping that the balconies save this.

    Toronto Tower at Pier 27 | 114.9m | 35s | Cityzen | a—A

Yeah - a wall of murderous glass

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

To be fair, warmer weather and the 'Yard' (whenever that's done) will bring in more crowds. I really do hope that they've considered chairs/tables out there. That area is generally fairly dead outside the summer season, and the weather hasn't really been all that great.

Great pic - the east tower starting to look like the renderings

    Toronto Monde | 149.95m | 44s | Great Gulf | Moshe Safdie

Have people moved in yet? Looks complete but didn't see much activity around there when I went past (2 weeks ago or so)

The DRP presentation is online: https://waterfrontoronto.ca/nbe/wcm/connect/waterfront/13ef5b12-e10d-4377-b11b-a0ce7a715ac2/Feb+20+2019+DRP_162+Queens+Quay+E+Presentation-compressed.pdf?MOD=AJPERES&CONVERT_TO=url&CACHEID=13ef5b12-e10d-4377-b11b-a0ce7a715ac2 The proposed height seems totally...

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

Looks super busy. Hopefully will look better once the fritted balconies are on. Other than that, there's no salvaging it

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

I think occupancy is now Spring 2020 for the West and Summer/Fall 2020 for the East tower. Not sure if that pushes back the dates for the Yard as well...I believe that was originally slated for Summer 2019.

A step above Wendys and McDonalds but I can't wait to see the vibrancy and excitement that Booster Juice will be bringing to the Yard

I hate the coloured bars more than the branding. They look stupid.

    Toronto Ontario Place | ?m | ?s | Infrastructure ON

Facts don't matter. Where were the libs when transit....as they watch a dozen GO trains go by and moan about congestion on trains due to cut backs by the PCs. The main issue with Ontario Place at present is the lack of direct transit access. Otherwise, I don't doubt that it would as busy as...

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

That's only here in Canada though because we live in a backwater when it comes to long term infrastructure planning and development. A government with any sort of capacity for rational thought and long-term vision would have gone ahead with HSR decades ago. Having HSR between London and...

    Toronto Daniels Waterfront - City of the Arts | 156.05m | 45s | Daniels | RAW Design

Looks cool, but with the interior had taken inspiration from the Corus building across the street. It's so much more playful and fun. I can see 130QQE being pretty vibrant once we have more bodies milling about the area
