Ah, I see the new shortcut from Kariya to Central Parkway is now open. lol (I don't condone this behaviour, it is Mississauga after all, where cars are king but everyone seems to hate traffic and parked cars though)

Perhaps, for the people not in the industry, an explanation is required as to why the process from application to launch takes "so long". The person you responded to, and certain politicians, seem to attribute it to "red tape", but I'm not sure bureaucracy is the reason for delays.

This doesn't make sense to me. RTG/Alstom need to fix the trains, regardless. So why delay start of construction? If the trains can't be re-engineered, and a different model is required, wouldn't that require new platforms be built in existing stations? Which could be done while stage 3 is...

They have already allocated land for portables. Mississauga parents are seemingly OK with portables, so, there really isn't any incentive for the region of Peel to spend more money.

For Port Credit station, where will the portal be located? From the photographs, I can visualize the push box under the tracks, but, the creek seems to be in the way on the other side, and it doesn't appear to be enough room between the creek and road for two tracks.

Slightly off topic: what is going on with the former Playdium? I recall it shutdown like 2 years ago, and the building was blue. It is now red.
