At the very least there should be concrete barriers on the opposite side of the sidewalk. The small curb and single thin post do no provide enough protection. There should be knee or chest high barriers like on YRT.

Obviously there are elevators at each platform that bring the LRVs down underground to do maintenance and they are there to indicate the moving ground. ;)

There's no pedestrian access to Triton Rd directly from the station, so people might go through Scarborough Town Centre to access destinations North of the station.
