    I live right there and by far the most disruptive noise (other than the construction) comes from motorcycles racing along Yonge St. under the bridge.

    Taken this morning. It's kind of hard to tell with the angle and flat light in the photo but they are at one level below grade at the near side by the base of the crane. The concrete stairs that can be seen behind the porta-potties go down to the second level below.

    They've actually started moving the trailers from the lower level of the lot to the west side of the upper level (above Yonge St.).

    Looks like there's some action on the Backstage site -- hoarding is up along the rail tracks and there is a crane there this morning that looks ready to lift an excavator or something onto the site.

    More than two dozen guys out today, most in the hole with a few across the street building the forms. Probably more than that on site but I can't see the whole job site.

    Is there any possibility that something like this would get approved given that the property is adjacent to two residential towers (one of which I live in)?

    They'll be cutting back the embankment toward the rail tracks, similar to what was done across the street at the Go bus terminal.
