    Toronto events and festivals

To be fair there are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many festivals. They need to get back to basics with things like the Beaches Jazz Festival, Pride, Caribana, etc. When you have neighborhood community events every other day there is simply not enough funding to go around. Some festivals can...

    Bloor-Yorkville Scene

Not sure how I feel about this. Cumberland and Yorkville Avenues are becoming the new Bloor Street however Bloor Street itself is becoming desolate. It is leaving a visible row of empty spaces along one of the most highly trafficked streets in the city.

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

I only go to KFC when I am constipated. It clears me out.

    Toronto Union Station Revitalization | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | NORR

Things were so much easier when TTR owned the station. Once it was bought and divided it all went to hell.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Would they not just end up in the lake?

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

I am still waiting for direct Budapest to Toronto flights to resume. Air Canada nixed them during Covid. There hasn't been reliable direct service between the two points since Malév went bankrupt.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

I was asked once. Depending on the polling company used they can be biased towards one party or the other.

They could name it the BJ Centre?

I wonder if they can strip the paint off the building?

    Toronto Ontario Line: Exhibition Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

I can see that being the case. During events at Exhibition Place that station can get quite crowded. Nothing worse than people blocking the bridge taking pictures, sending a text or making calls. I have actually told people off for that over the years. Years ago I was leaving a Leaf game...

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

It is things like this that are costing the LPC votes. It's nice they want to help but it feels like they care more for other countries than they do Canadians. As a Canadian, I am of the opinion we need to fix our own house before fixing others.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

The only poll that matters is the one on election day. That being said, you can survey 100 people but if 99 of them are PC supports they will have a 99% approval rate. Surveys are done at random but it all depends on who you call.

    Hudson's Bay Company

NL maybe you can clarify. Is there not something in the leases which state they have to keep mall hours while operating as a functional business in the mall?

    Mayor Olivia Chow's Toronto

I suspect they want any venues created to be usable after the World Cup like was the case with the Pan AM games in 2015. The indigenous capacity funding was likely for the same reasons we have land acknowledgements.

Homelessness on GTA Transit (catch all)

The Kingston Road Motels are a prime example of this though some of them are scary at the best of times. In Scarborough, the Hav-A-Nap motel was known for "renting by the hour" and brought new meaning to the words "Don't let the bedbugs bite" though I suspect not much sleeping was done there.

    St Lawrence Market

Good to know! I have walked past the Kingsway location for years but never stopped in.

    St Lawrence Market

Is it the same store? I thought it was something completely different

    Hudson's Bay Company

I am surprised that the mall is not saying something. I assumed it would be in their lease to keep standard mall hours.

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

Agreed. All is takes is one slip up for a person to get in serious political trouble. Take Mel Lastman just prior to his Kenya trip for example (where he likely cost us the 2008 Olympics). Then again.. this is a minority parliament. Despite the supply and confidence arrangement the plug can be...
