    Toronto Designers Walk | 81m | 22s | Cityzen | BBB

This looks like a great proposal both aesthetically and given that the smallest units are 2 bedroom. It will be interesting to see the reaction as this makes its way through planning, because it's almost directly across the street from the proposal that caused a stir when Margaret Atwood and...

    Toronto 64 Prince Arthur | 46.1m | 13s | Forgestone | RAW Design

Sounds like you are anti-development. Limiting density to Yonge or apartment neighbourhoods creates the need for 30, 40, 50 and more storeys. We will either get massive towers along small stretches of city, or midrise through large swaths. Coming from an affordability and livability standpoint...

    Toronto 265 Balliol | 91.43m | 27s | Park Property | BDP Quadrangle

It's too bad there is no retail in the base of this building. Would definitely be nice as people in this area have to walk close to Yonge or over to Mt. Pleasant to find anything. Still a great redevelopment. Countdown to councillor Matlow coming out against it.

    Toronto Junction House | 40.23m | 9s | Slate | superkül

That's unfortunate because it will make it so much harder for this proposal to get approved. I imagine that block of homeowners/residents won't want to live in permanent shadow, so despite the larger units + market rate condos, this might have a hard time getting through plans - unfortunately.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Did they lower the height/proposed floors of 141 Bay? That's unfortunate, I know it neither tower was going to be the tallest in the city, but their impact on the skyline will be diminished significantly if 141 is being scaled down. Will have less impact than even Brookfield Place.

    Toronto The Cardiff | 38.71m | 12s | Sierra | RAW Design

Don't really understand why staff are recommending they oppose this proposal. The report notes the underground parking as one reason, but is vague for all other reasons. From the report: The proposed built form does not meet the Healthy Neighbourhoods, Built Form, Neighbourhoods, or Apartment...

    Toronto e2 at ePlace | 156.56m | 46s | Capital Developments | TACT Architecture

At the first public meeting last night residents were generally supportive of the wider sidewalks and POPS, which would have seating, trees, and turf for dogs. People and councillor Matlow were not happy about height (go figure) and the prospect of even more construction. Pretty cool though...

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

It actually won't cause much shadowing on 18 Yonge. It will be almost directly west of that building, so the sun will have to be in the extreme west of the sky (i.e. at dusk) for any shadow concerns on 18 Yonge.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

From the Star article: "The bank said its lease agreement stipulates that Bay Park Centre will be rebranded under a CIBC name in the coming months." Wonder what it will be called...

Does that mean they have to reapply and go through the approvals process again?

    Toronto The Millwood | 157.6m | 45s | Times Group | Core Architects

It's too bad Councillor Matlow will inevitably be against this proposal. 20 per cent 3-bedroom units, a grocery store, a new LCBO and density extremely close to a subway station. These are all great things. Given the location, shadows would only be a concern for the school yard late in the...

    Toronto The Parker | 123.13m | 39s | Fitzrovia | Graziani + Corazza

Wow, considering Citylights, already under construction, and the proposal to replace the northeast corner building with something much taller and denser, this intersection is going to be ridiculous!

    Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

I really liked the old Quandrangle design as well. This is no-doubt a great proposal, but the old one was more striking IMO. Not to mention it included a number of townhouses, which would be a great addition to a downtown location. Hopefully this new proposal includes at least a good number of 3...

    Toronto 66 Broadway Avenue | 65.22m | 22s | Beaux Properties | CS&P

Hopefully this project gets the green light because this building is in desperate need of repair (speaking as a resident)! I imagine that many of the mid-century apartments in the city don't have AC, but the inside of this building regularly gets warmer than 27 degrees in the summer, and it's...

    Toronto Chelsea Green (was 33 Gerrard) | 297.25m | 90s | Great Eagle | a—A

Wow these could be taller than Aura. This corner will really be a great cluster in the skyline in the future!

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

One thing I'm confused by in the Toronto Star article is that it stated The One, as it's currently proposed, is a huge step up in terms of density. My understanding of that is that the proposal itself is a ramp up in densification levels compared to other condos/proposals, but don't many Toronto...
