Yes, the Upper Duke gates at the Nexus Building are now LOCKED to all outsiders. No more freeloaders trespassing on private property just to save a few minutes on their drive. No more using our driveway for FREE when the people of the Nexus Building are the ones who pay the property taxes for...

Ya the sign looks fantastic. You are right, it is really really bright....especially at night when you drive by. That entire intersection of Birchmount and Enterprise will be lite-up in a few years.

Ya I agree that the townhouses do have a homogeneous look to them. But the ones I've been in look beautiful inside. The homes are 5 floors, and include a rooftop patio. The people who live there are very affluent (I personally know 2 doctors who live there). The value of the townhomes is close...

I agree with you 100%. A nice interlock brick pattern would have been better. The interlock would have created a warmer atmosphere and added to the character of the area.

That area of highway 7 right now looks like crap and seems old and run down. I think a redo is much needed and is a good investment. I also would like to think that if you build a beautiful pedestrian walkway and bike lane on a busy street then people will start to use them. Building on hwy 7...

    Downtown Markham

I agree that the number of pedestrians on highway 7, and Markham streets in general, will never be the same as downtown Toronto, especially during weekday work hours. But in the evenings and on weekends, you'd be surprised by the number of people you see walking, running, and biking... And it's...

Nexus (Downtown Markham, Remington, 14 + 10s, Quadrangle)

It looks like they are NOT creating that left-turn lane into the nexus building. If the left-turn lane from Birchmount is not created, then Nexus residents and their guests will be forced to use Rouge Valley Drive. This is a huge inconvenience!

Nexus (Downtown Markham, Remington, 14 + 10s, Quadrangle)

Looks like they are making a left turn lane, for northbound traffic, into the Nexus parking lot from Birchmount. I'm happy they're getting it done before Birchmount to Hwy 7 opens up.
