It's just that you can expect the same from all big retail chains, like Prada,Armani, etc.. These specialized stores carry different variety of goods, rather than just one label, and there is better customer service. I mean hemingways leathers was booted off bloor, Hazel went bankrupt, Zola...

It is too bad, that was a nice store, they apparently had prblem paying their rents, and there was a notice on their store door for customers to get their orders at a different location. The sad thing is that Bloor is becoming occupied with big retail chains only, no room for exclusive specialed...

ahh, I hope the Apple proposal doesn't go through, I'd prefer the Christofle pavilion there instead of over-rated crap any time, plus Apple already has stores in Toronto, I'd prefer something more exclusive to open there.

I was told by a very reliable source that Holt Renfrew slips in fakes all the time, and I was quite angered to hear this. I know i bought an Armani Collezioni sweater last year from them, and I ponder it's authenticity until this day, it say made in China, and I'm not sure if Armani operates...

I believe Franco Mirabelli is closing his shop in Yorkdale, it said lease expired on its window front.

I spoke to a Service representative of Agent Provocateur to see why they havent opened up in Toronto yet,since there were articles mentioning boutique openings in Montreal and Toronto after Vancouver. However, she said that there are no plans to open a Toronto boutique in the near future...

So much for the Eaton centre I suppose, I hope it's a Burberry that caters to both men and women, since lately yorkdale has been getting stores that target women only, Kors and Boss are examples.

I would be interested to know where Dior and Walter steiger are planning on moving in. All I can think of is walter steiger moving in at Cartiers curent location, while Dior would have to replace some other retailer. Filip, do you know where they will be located?
