    Parc Downsview Park

The majority of people that live around here have lived here their entire lives, a lot of them retired and older generations. As an investment property I can't see anything going wrong as the new subway line, vicinity to highways and Humber River hospital support the value of pretty much all...

    Parc Downsview Park

These are condo town homes and freehold town homes. I can't see these turning into similar apartments in the area, the cheapest unit is $299k and go up to $650k, needless to say low income families will not be able to afford them. If you drive through the nearby residential areas you will see a...

    Parc Downsview Park

I just threw the floor plan up there to give an idea, I mostly likely will not be living in it, it's an investment property which i'd like to hear some thoughts on as well. The reason I like it is because it has 2 bedrooms and a little space for a desk, 2 YorkU students would not have a problem...

    Parc Downsview Park

I'm bringing this thread back to life only because I'm not allowed to create a thread due to the low amount of posts I have. The Downsview Park Townhouse development by Urbancorp went on sale April 14. I bought one a few days ago but I'm still not sure about it, I have not found any information...

The Neighbourhoods of Riverdale - Opinions?

Also, these look identical to the condo townhouses that are being built at Downsview Park, surprisingly I have not found any information on the Downsview Park development on here. Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread and I'm not eligible to create a new thread yet but incase people want...

    2011-2012 Leafs

The only way ticket sales will take a hit is if the government stops allowing business' to write off sport events as a business expense. Sell the farm and get a goalie with a veteran back up.

    1 floor missing between 20th - 23rd floors

Maybe some people have issues with multiples of 11? I got it, Roger Clemens wore number 22. I'm a genius.

    M3 layout 1 + Den opinion

A pocket door would be nice for the Den. A friend of mine owns a place around King & Bathurst with the exact same layout without the den and it works beautifully. 9' ceilings do wonders.

    Emerald City 1 - 1+Den

I like how the breakfast bar separates the kitchen with a small dining area, better than having an island on that floor plan.

The Neighbourhoods of Riverdale - Opinions?

That's just one of the basic questions you ask when making one of the largest purchases of your life. When selling a detached house, if the basement has been finished properly with permits and everything you're paying property tax of the additional square footage of the basement so that's why...

Star: Nightlife at Harbourfront could fall victim to whining locals

As a former resident of the area, the noise never bothered me, honking and traffic noise comes with living in a condo downtown. There were a few older people who lived in my building who I could see calling to complain about noise, those people have nothing better to do so I'm not surprised.

    Best Burger

Burger Priest is my favorite, there's also a new location on Yonge which I haven't tried yet. BQM on Ossington is also decent. Apache and South St. don't make my list.

    Rob Ford and Pride

The "black people event" you are referring to is called the Caribana street festival. I am European and I usually attend, it has been a tradition in Canada since the 60's and a lot of fun despite the negative criticism it receives. Anyway, that's off topic, please continue to the Rob Ford...

    Rob Ford and Pride

I haven't read this thread from the beginning, however, in my personal opinion it's Rob Ford's job to be there, it comes with the territory and any cities mayor should attend cultural events such as the gay pride parade to avoid scrutinization from the public whether it was a scheduling conflict...
