    1 King West owners question

And yes, I am still an owner and very happy to be one.

    1 King West owners question

I just checked the MLS, that listing is highly deceptive. The income they are quoting is total revenue booked by the hotel, not even close to what the owner would get after wages, management, FFE etc. That unit is a 1.4 factor meaning the owner likely grossed $56k last year. Subtracting taxes...

    1 King West owners question

My unit grossed $48k last year, high floor, 07 Suite type. It is in the rental pool as a 1.2 Revenue factor. My unit would like sell for $550k but it is really hard to find a unit for sale that is in the rental pool. People in the pool love the income and do not want to sell. Most listings...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

This really do seem to be moving fast, we are only months in and they have made good progress. Is it possible they could actually beat project timelines? Metrolinx, are you watching?

Love this one! A very old school Manhattan vibe.

Was just about to ask about that building. It could look amazing but needs a good scrub!

True, but in this case it is also transferring very large vertical loads to the core of the building due to its cantilever over the railway corridor.

Hoping we will be part of creating a transit oriented walkable neighbourhood.

Do not worry, they have lots of term on their lease and will be part of any new development.

As the owner of the site across the street (Starskys), I am very happy to see this approved. We are already zoned high density mixed use on our site with a max height of 12 floors. This will allow us to go minimum 17 and possibly higher.

From my afternoon walk yesterday. Although I love the architecture, this place has a long way to go from a retail vibrancy point of view. I also found the access between levels very cumbersome, had to take elevators.

Still no word from the receiver to purchasers. I have emailed many times with no response. Still wondering if they will honour our agreements.

    Toronto Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

As someone who has spent his career building structures throughout this country, I can tell you how frustrating it can be to get permits issued. Concord is taking a calculated risk here, time is money, especially in this interest rate environment. Trying to get bureaucrats to understand that...

    Burlington 1200 King Road | ?m | ?s | Alinea | DIALOG

As a former Burlingtonian, I am happy to see a major arena/entertainment facility included in this project (something a city the size of Burlington should have). Looks to be about 5,000 seats, perfect for an OHL team.

Wow, these new renderings have given me hope. Taken a hot mess of a building and made it passable.

    Roads: GTA West Corridor—Highway 413

Glad to see this moving forward, it is needed. Most of the transportation infrastructure spending in this province has been rail (Ontario Line, Finch, Crosstown, Scarborough Subway, Yonge extension, Go electrification, Hamilton LRT etc etc). I think we can allow one highway project in an area...
