True but it’s a pity that no matter how nice a building is architecturally, if it doesn’t feel good living in there makes it really worthless. I mean NY has so many great buildings but to have a sliver of the river and call it an amazing view after spending 10M is a joke. There should be...

Wouldn’t a building in the SE corner block the amazing views for 481 and 488? Why would anyone want that? Yesterday.

Thanks. I meant perhaps the new build and the SickKids already there could have been taller than the stack Itself as you pointed out there’s a delta of -40 m!

Why wouldn’t they build around it so it’s blocked. It looks so nasty especially right behind City Hall.

Does anyone know how tall is the smokestack? It looks gigantic.

Thank you!! It’s purely for my own learning. I’m not in this industry but am very interested in it. That’s all. I just see these excavators around me digging all day and am intrigued how they know to stop because when I am told to dig 6 feet to erect an outdoor lamp post, I have no clue what...

Cool. Thanks. So it’s all relative to existing structures? Wouldn’t that create creeps in accuracy over time if it is all relative?

I have a dumb question. How do they know how deep to dig relative to the sea level? Is there like an altimeter or something?

Did the height decrease again? I thought it’s 179 m.

Whatever happened to the horizontal light strips across the top of the foyer glass box?

Koops65, I notice you have a new rendering of 481. Do you think you can share a view of the new drawing from the west elevation of 481 from the perspective of the 51st Floor of 488 (assuming that’s the first floor of clearing 481 as you have shown before)? Thanks!

Someone came to fix the kitchen cabinets and when I said what about the scratches he ran out. So ridiculous.

I think it will be a bar type of “restaurant” where you can order drinks and finger foods. If you open that door behind the couch in the sky lobby you will see it. Ok yes you’re not supposed to open the door LOL

Wow you’re amazing. It’s like accurate to the inch! LOL.

That's amazing. Thank you for sharing. Can I ask if the scaling is accurate to the floor? For example, is it accurate to assume that the 50th floor (by counting from the top of the model) at 488 would clear 481 with the reduced height from 185 to 180?

Where do you get the drawing to see these heights? Is the north side portion then much lower than 180 m?

Does anyone know why they dropped the maximum height from 184.5 m down to 180 m? I thought developers usually would propose increase in height rather than lower it. Anyone has the final drawings?

I hope not but I’m not so sure since NPS is ground level. We shall see but likely it will block the skating rink the Toronto sign and the main stage.

Well too bad they’re already building a courthouse there to block the view of Nathan Philip Square.

They made me sign a different kitchen configuration earlier in the year because they couldn’t put in the.built-in coffee maker. In the drawing per poster above, you will notice the stones became wood (notice your drawing shows stone on the waterfall edge so you should fight for it). When I got...
