I find the design of this very confusing, why would the cycle track switch places with the sidewalk near Adeline Ave? Also why terminate the track at the parking lot of the arena, why not just extend it another 95m to Parkdale? Maybe somebody more in the loop or familiar with cycling practices...

LRT is the way to go IMO. The city core needs a higher order transit backbone to enable the kind of development that the rest of the BLAST network would succeed off of. Maybe the plan would be to extend the cycle track along the north of main from Macklin to Longwood eventually? The clinic and Westdale have a strip of land that's just grass that could be used, would only end up clipping the corner of 1 residential property apart from those 2. Imo it's a mistake...
