This first photo is awesome, they're not even close to being complete and they have already shifted the entire feel of this neighbourhood.

I think this a good proposal for the area. Would love to see the height increased considering how central it is and the surrounding amenities, but know that won't happen unfortunately. Aside from that, the only strange thing is that its right next to GS Dunn which is a mustard mill and often has...

I think it would be great to have Hamiltons version of The Well at this location. Especially if it can cater to the soon to be renovated Commons entertainment district.

Couldn't agree more, the escarpment really is a barrier between the city and the suburbs. The Mountain has little to no public realm, only public street that's worth utilizing as a pedestrian is Concession Ave. Really hope Hamilton Mountain transitions its lacklustre plazas into my mixed use...

Would love to see some traction on this lot and the one across the street. Cannot stress enough how important it is to develop around transportation hubs as we have with West Harbour GO. Midrise 8-12 stories in this area I think are ideal, possibly up to 20. Especially considering the 20 storey...

Urban Strategies Inc. has moved into this building as one of the tenants. Great to see this being utilized as a studio for their firm.

They are moving at some pace now, great photos. As this quadrant of downtown is becoming the epicentre of development it will be key to invest in public spaces on George and Hess, ideally they both become pedestrian only.

Interested to see how that podium integrates into the streetscape over the course of the project. That is a lot of concrete.

Would love for Gore Park to add another large scale development like this. It really did a nice job of integrating into the area without diluting the public realm. I hope the Moderne gets going or 18-30 King St E.

I like this for the overall area, I think it works considering other similar scaled buildings on Main. But the 4/5 lane road that it will sit on causes major pedestrian movement issues. Aside, I desperately want the Hamilton Spectator brick building torn down. That's prime real estate coming...

    Hamilton 1309 King Street East | 60.4m | 19s

I really think developing mid rises around Gage Park would bring another great neighbourhood or BIA to Hamiltons downtown. I understand this is hardly anything but a great idea for developers to follow up on.

    Hamilton 499 Mohawk Road East | 85.3m | 25s | New Horizon | Graziani + Corazza

I believe this is the direction Hamilton Mountain should be moving in, mixed-use densification of underutilized plazas along two major transit corridors. However, it is important to get the first iteration of these mixed used developments right in order to properly set precedent for the City...
