    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

The 400 feet north of Steeles/Main from my understanding has always been a part of the initial project. They wouldn't be doing any extensive work north of Steeles if they weren't sure they were going to put a guideway there. At one point, they even had the temporary stops on the southbound...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I like the way you think, but the LRT needs guideways and rails to operate on, all of which do not exist until South of Hurontario / 407, we've gotta finish relocating utilities, repaving, and painting the extension for the roads, and installing the guideways here in Brampton.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I said the exact same thing. The reality is that utility relocation takes time, and they need to ensure that they are 100% finished with relocating utilities before they begin paving, installing a new curb, and so on. It's much easier to deal with now than it is to deal with once the guideway...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

It seems that all the infrastructure from Bartley Bull Parkway to Hurontario/407 has been relocated since I don't see the trench shield anywhere on the road anymore. All that needs to be done is curb prep, concrete pouring and paving. The e-mail I received from Metrolinx seems to believe that...

    Orangeville-Brampton Railway (OBRY)

https://brampton.bidsandtenders.ca/Module/Tenders/en/Tender/Detail/35f85ffb-7c30-41e1-81bb-aefb21538f31 Looks like Brampton's started a bid for detailed design of the OBRY.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

As was I. I'd really like to hear more about what's being done between Guelph / Georgetown, and Georgetown to Mount Pleasant.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Anyone know what's going on Northbound on Mississauga Road / Bovaird in Brampton? Is it rail related or not?

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I barely travel to Toronto unless it's on the GO Train, so does it look like they've done a lot of work since switching to 24/7? Does it look like they've switched to 24/7 from your POV?

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I'm so confused. Did they just reopen the southbound section within the last couple of days? I'll have to drive down again just to see what it looks like.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

As always, thank you for your constant updates. This is one of the threads that keeps me going when I don't have much to do. The thing with Brampton is that a lot of their utilities run through the middle of Main street, and then they have T junctions that go to other buildings. They're going...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I was just watching CP24 while following up with the Mississauga byelection - Chow confirmed to CP24 that construction on the Gardiner Expressway is now 24/7. We'll see what that brings.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Hurontario / Main Northbound from 407 to Steeles has been the same since last year. A lot of the work that needs to be completed still hinges on either permits being issued by the city for sanitary / wastewater / storm and other utilities that need upgrading, or finding the hours to do so. The...

    Brampton Transit/Zum

Glad to see they've increased service times on the 4/4A/104. 0839 has been doing a lot of the heavy lifting along with the other Zum artics. The 504 couldn't come any sooner.

    Brampton Transit/Zum

It's still so weird to see non-zum artics, even if this is the only non-zum bus in the fleet. That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing more for routes that sorely need it. They have the right idea with the Zum buses going to different routes since covid hit anyway.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Just took a look at my dashcam footage since that's all I currently have. From May 31st, they were working in the Eastbound section of the 407/Hurontario with a concrete truck pouring cement for what I am assuming is either the retaining walls, or the foundation for the retaining walls. I'm not...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Yeah. All they've done is remove the median and widen the roads in anticipation of tracks being laid, but it seems there's still more to be done. I would hazard a guess that it hinges on the 407 overpass work being completed before anything else reaches Brampton. I drove through the 407 and...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I'll call it the Hurontario line or the Highway 10 line. I don't think Hazel McCallion line rolls off the tongue for me.

    Brampton Transit/Zum

Any idea how the Queen BRT is intended to work downtown to say... East heading toward Centre street? I can understand having lanes in the middle of the road after Centre, not so much anything going west of Centre downtown.

    Brampton Transit/Zum

The road construction tender for Chinguacousy Zum was just recently issued here (redirects to Bids&Tenders Brampton) Alongside that, Enseicom Inc, who constructed the Zum stations we know today was awarded the contract to fabricate and install the bus stations along Chinguacousy Road. here...

Pfffft I don't think anyone cares about the quality of the photos unless you were shooting them using a webcam from the early 2000's. The more photos the better!
