    Parking - Catch All

The problem with Disability Permits is more that they can park anywhere except in No Stopping zones so constantly block traffic lanes. (Added to point that many are not really justified!)

No doubt there will be a plaque!! In fact there is one already so "nothing more needed here!" From https://torontoplaques.ca/Pages/Ontarios_First_Parliament_Buildings

    211 Jarvis St. (Manga, ?s, ?)

Yes, I know the City has the intention to designate - see posting a bit further up the thread) . I was pointing out that, even if the interiors 'have not much to save' the exteriors are, in my opinion anyway, WELL worth preserving - even as a facadectomy.

    211 Jarvis St. (Manga, ?s, ?)

I would assume only the exteriors are 'heritage' by now and we MIGHT see a facadectomy. Externally it certainly seems worth saving to me.

    St Lawrence Market

Yes their new front lobby also took MONTHS - looks better but I dread to think what it must have cost them!

    St Lawrence Market

Yes, discussed here a while ago. It IS the replacement of a hydro vault and is 'almost finished' - the wooden fencing is (mostly) gone. It is on the sidewalk (and the passageway through the site) not on the road. The condo have been replacing all their brickwork and this was last section and...

Not quite sure where this goes but it is quite interesting. Accelerating Rehabilitation of the Cross Harbour Tunnel https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2025/mm/bgrd/backgroundfile-260053.pdf

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Great video but clearly this project is a MESS! The amount of track being torn up and relaid seems excessive - another Eglinton!

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

It is also not clear, yet, if these will have runnels (thanks for the word!). Of course, they SHOULD have them but....

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Working full out, I see! I assume there is now zero chance of paving until it warms up again next year. This really has been a totally mis-managed project.

    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

As noted here a while ago, the City has had no plans to continue the improvements to Lake Shore Blvd East from Carlaw (where the current WT project ends) to Leslie - including finishing the removal of the Harbour Lead Line rails from the median. I have drawn this to Councillor Fletcher'...

Sonder Holdings Inc is now bankrupt!

Because it was a player in the Toronto hotel market (it had 5 or 6 properties here) and was Canadian-founded? No doubt someone will buy the remains during the bankruptcy proceedings but it will certainly have an effect for local employees and tourists until it is re-launched

    Toronto Cambridge Suites Redevelopment | 230.85m | 71s | Centennial Hotels Limited | WZMH

This proposal is DEAD - though I am sure that at some point somebody will see a low-rise building in a good location and make new plans.

PATH Network Expansion (various, various, various)

Not sure there are 'plans' but there certainly are 'hopes' that are shown in renderings somewhere in UT - probably in the Phase 1 thread of Pinnacle.
  19. DSCToronto

PATH Network Expansion (various, various, various)

There is lots of info on Pinnacle thread (I think). Basically there will be (???) an overhead link from south side of CIBC building @ Yonge - south side of rail bridge, under Gardiner and to the Phase 3 Pinnacle tower that will (???) be built where the current extension of Harbour Stree is...
