I like the balcony gimmick in this one, the zigzags look pretty sharp. The podium is a mess though, it doesn't bare any relation to the towers and is a clutter of shapes where the towers have a single clearly defined line.

The residents on Draper no doubt would be in fierce opposition to any further height, and I would actually agree with them. It's a special little street that should be protected.

Even just a covered walkway would be nice, that sidewalk is very well used. Not sure how to address the Taco Bell drive-thru shortcut though. People will always take the shortest route (myself included). Maybe the mall could expand their North entrance to the road.

I walked by that forest of scaffolding last week and just looking at it made me uncomfortable. Can't imagine sitting on the top row, no way I could concentrate on a game!

It's extremely out of character for the area, in a good way. Makes me wish it was somewhere closer to downtown where it would face less opposition.

I think you're just attached to it. It fails in readability, even at larger sizes, and is a mess from a technical perspective with the overuse of strokes and thin line weights. There are a lot of other terrible logos there, but some like Tokyo, Hong Kong, London Underground and even nearby...

I've seen them all over recently. That message is sometimes combined with a "10 Minute Network" logo that presumably indicates service at least every 10 minutes at that stop.

I take the same buses as the students do, both the Wilson routes and the 191. While the 96 and 186 do carry a lot of students, the majority take the 191 to and from Kipling. The bus is usually packed throughout the day, often stops are skipped as there is no room left. It's difficult to say if...

I agree, but they don't seem interested in updating it for the 21st century. Also I'm sure they would have their in-house designers do it so the result would be less than satisfactory.

It looks great, the only thing I'd change is make the street level exit symbol a little more visible. It shows how poorly the TTC logo scales as well, but there's not much to do about that.

I'm not sure about residential, but I'd love to see some restaurants with large patios fronting the park. Maybe with some offices above.

Yeah, it's odd. The best side of the building is facing Victoria and not the square. I'm hoping they cover it up with static ads or something, that would be an improvement.

I really hope they replace the doors to the subway stations, those things are so heavy for no good reason. I'm not sure why they need 2 sets of them either since the other side is still indoors? Is it a fire code thing?

Is anyone else a part of the MDP? I noticed the deduction from my bank account this month was $212, obviously more than the usual amount. I emailed the MDP office a few days ago but they haven't bothered to respond yet, just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else.
