For 2 years now, George Hislop Park has been inaccessible. The park remains closed and fenced off under the guise of park improvements (which aren’t occurring). The park remains accessible to tents however. An absolute failure on the City’s behalf.
Grading being done outside the old building. Also more balconies have been painted? Not sure if they’re painting all them but it would look a lot better.
Accessible … for the price of $50m for the penthouse owner ;). Although it would have been cool if they had chosen to put something up there open to the public (observation deck, bar, or restaurant maybe).
I think the cladding partially covers the glass. So I think the curtain wall has to be installed first. There was a post awhile back.

Super deep stations are seen in other places too. Singapore has many, a lot deeper than Toronto’s stations. It’s not that bad as long as the escalators work.
Around 10 construction workers were working on the pool / rooftop today. They’ve started working on it for quite some time now. I’ll try to get a pic next time.
The blank wall would be great with a mural especially in this neighbourhood. Even pride flag colours would be cool. Compared to some other blank walls side walls I can think of *cough* this is much better.
