    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I'm glad you agree talking down to others isn't ideal. I'm happy we're looking at candidates who actually care about and understand the system

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Unrelated but looking at the last 2 photo's we have 1960's lights/infrastructure still there

    TTC: Major Operational Issues (Various)

I wish the robot voices didn't sound so robotic, and also cost north of a million dollars to program each time!

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Nearly all the metrics are a lie, who cares if a bus leaves the terminal on time if everyone on it (or waiting for it) is 20 mins late halfway through the route? I waited at pioneer villege for the 60, it skipped the station because it was behind and my bus that comes every 12 mins had a half...

    TTC: Major Operational Issues (Various)

Somewhat off topic but I remember for emancipation day recently, they ran an express train from downsview to Union, I was going to go but thought the slow orders would make it pointless

    Roads: Traffic Signals

I noticed over the last year they extended the red light after the advanced green, I'm guessing this was to reduce the chance of cars going forward while someone is turning left? There's like a 5+ second gap added between light changes, and I've just noticed more cars turning illegally with...

    TTC: Major Operational Issues (Various)

That seem's unreasonable unless the core ends west of university and east of yonge? I think this is one of those issues you can't fix with most policy solutions because even Toronto proper is so damn big! Want to fix congestion? Mandate 1 day a week wfh for those who can, I go in the office 5x...

TTC: Electric and alternative fuel buses

Seems like a bad idea, not just because that team is perpetually late but when I visited YVR it was interesting seeing how the trolley busses couldn't really pass each other, not as a big of a deal there but imagine the bunching when you have 10 min frequencies .

    TTC: Major Operational Issues (Various)

I'm not sure how true this is? I remember getting from Adelaide to the Gardiner took me 55 mins at pm in 2019, in 2022 it was the same or worse. (hard to tell because they put in police to help with the flow) I haven't done the trip since then though! Tolls are unrealistic (The liberals...

How does it work? I remember the screens used to turn on if you tapped them but either it's been broken or disabled one very dock I used.

I had this issue happen, but only for 1 specific bike on the dock

GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

No but OTOH I think the whole transport of last resort argument is easier to make in that case, alsooooo have you seen Via? I think they had a wrap for spiderman 2 still up when 3 came out!

Ironically I used to take this bus and I appreciated that they added the letters

    General railway discussions

LOL the same organization that took an investigator off a case for daring to point out CP was stonewalling an investigation! https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/cp-railway-tsb-lawsuit-threat-investigator-field-fatal-derailment-1.6070183

Really, I see a ton more cars on the road now vs 2022

Why are hydro poles not labelled in Etobicoke?

Thanks! Good point on the owned by the city part. My assumption was that for whatever reason 90% of the time they’re across from a labelled wooden pole. It sucks tor reporting lights out when the poles are all concrete and there’s no east way to differentiate them. The weird part is even now...

Why are hydro poles not labelled in Etobicoke?

I noticed that it seems each of the former cities in Toronto label poles differently, I noticed there are almost no concrete poles labelled in Etobicoke! I'm curious why this is, and seems to continue to this day even in new installations.

My issue a lot of the time was weirdly enough the app glitching out. Like the the screenshot where it said I'm too far??? But if it's a physical issue I'll try that!
