That makes sense, thanks for pointing that out. In theory, that would work in many cases, but IMO, the design for both blocks is very busy and not appealing to begin with. They'd been better off to just carry through one design to at least create some kind of rhythm or a consistent pattern...

I really wish they at least matched the cladding for the two sections fronting Esplanade. IMO, it really draws more attention to the cheap materials and lack of any design aesthetic.

This is one of the best office projects going up right now. It's going to be so exciting seeing the timber getting installed.

Correct. The two residential buildings to the east are NOT Tridel. Really shows all the fake news on this site. They are only responsible for the far West low-rise on front, yet to apply any cladding yet.

I don't mind the height here. I imagine this will likely get approved 5 floors shorter.
