3 weeks ago, I visited a friend's west-facing unit at WestOne and discovered that if indeed the TCHC building is built at the southern-most part of the block, it would block my friend's view of the gardiner expressway... not too bad

Please, don't stop the discussions just yet. The more we hear both sides, the more we understand and the more we are closer to common ground. Discussions are the better alternative than not having one at all (aka dictatorship)

Is there a governing body or regulatory body who can discipline / impose fines on real estate agents who lie about their listing and misrepresent a clients?

Before making the post earlier, I checked the floor plan at cityplace.ca website and counted the number of windows from the corner (i.e. 10), That wall seems to divide unit 5 from unit 3. Unfortunately for unit 5, bedroom #2 is right beside unit 3's living room. I hope cityplace add more...

Thanks Matrix! Anyone knows the noise levels between condo units with drywall partitions? I mean can you hear people on the other side watch TV, cook, or even argue? Reason I asked is, from Matrix' photo, Cityplace is using drywall partitions:

Yes, since last year for both Courtyard and Park Collection of Parade 2 and since 2007 for Grand Parade 2. AFAIK The bottom of Tower 2 and Midrise 2 haven't been released yet. Did anyone tell you that Parade 2 is not yet selling units?

i've witnessed the construction of cityplace buildings west of spadina over the years and i did see cinder block partitions between suites. i have no photo handy, but if i find one in my archives, i'll post it.
