Post your pictures of Toronto here!

Not a fan of TD Terrace either but there are100+ other far more offensive high rises; practically everything on Front between it and Spadina.. It's almost 1 km of depressing schlock.

    Toronto Time and Space Condos | 101.8m | 29s | Pemberton | Wallman Architects

^^ YUCK! Looks like we dodged a bullet. The last thing Toronto needs is yet another boring mundane massing we've seen 200+ times already. The bulky massing and facade differentiation we got at T&S (and Mirvish Village) is a welcomed departure. The issue here is the quality of construction.

Not very smart. All those new residents will just add even more cars to the highway, stroads, and streets. PT needs to go in first.

Love the urbanization of University Avenue although a proper barrier between the bike lane and the road needs to be installed. 1 street done; 30,000 more streets to go.

    Hamilton Gore Park Condos | 106.9m | 32s | HBSC | KNYMH

It's shocking how so many people declare buildings disposable due to shabbiness, destruction of architectural elements, or being structurally compromised, At the very least, we should rebuild the facade facing Gore Park but we could do a lot more if we chose to. It bears mentioning that...

What a breath of fresh air to see more buildings using black brick. Would like to see some green brick too. More of both please! 😍

    Toronto Rail Deck Development | 239.43m | 72s | LIUNA | Sweeny &Co

As said many people to Jane Jacobs as she rallied against things that would diminish this city. Park proponents are pushing (against powerful interest groups) for a project that would be transformative for Toronto. And you don't speak for the City. Park advocates aren't bothering the City...

    Toronto 75 on The Esplanade | 99.97m | 29s | Harhay | a—A

Wow,, they plan to install actual ceilings? That's a pleasant surprise.

    Toronto 530 Yonge Street | 224.8m | 68s | KingSett Capital | Giannone Petricone

Gorgeous but it does seem WAY too nice for Toronto. It's more in line with design standards in Australian cities.

    Allan Gardens Revitalization Plan

It's curious as why they decided on traffic lights as the crosswalk on the south side of Allan Gardens works quite well. I suppose Homewood Avenue makes it trickier for pedestrians. This is an improvement over what existed before but what Carlton really needs is the the reduction of car...

    Toronto U of T: Academic Wood Tower | 77m | 14s | U of T | Patkau

The issue with $7.95 is that 80% of the population can't justify spending that much on a pastry. We all like nice things but when a good chunk of the population budget $8 (or less) for an entire meal one has to wonder what kind of city we're building. It's great that these things are available...

    Mississauga Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

Agree 100%. We shouldn't be encouraging auto-centric development any way. All it does is encourage more driving and the continuation of absurdly wide roads. The Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens does have underground parking but I doubt they'd lose much business if they got rid of the parking...

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I'd like to focus on the building but I can't get past the crude, depressing public realm. And it's not just this block, but practically every block in our city. After watching a walking tour of Melbourne (link below), it hammered home how awful our public realm is. Stop using concrete on...

    Toronto 55 Yonge | 232.86m | 68s | H&R REIT | PARTISANS

Well yes, you only see top shelf design like this in top tier global cities. It speaks volumes that proposals of this calibre get built elsewhere but in Toronto they're fantasy. I'd love to be proven wrong, of course.

Almost sacrilege on here, but I prefer this to Spire down the street.

    Toronto ROQ City | 113.48m | 33s | Tricon | Hariri Pontarini

2012 Toronto saw the Four Seasons Hotel built in Yorkville. Psychologically, it massively enlarged what we thought of as downtown. We've been filling the stretch between it and the historic CBD ever since to create a more seamless dense swath. Now we're seeing the same thing happening east...

    Toronto Ontario Line: Osgoode Station | ?m | 1s | Metrolinx | HDR

So sad that 95% of that heritage building was destroyed/dumped in a landfill. Saving an exterior wall is NOT preservation.

    Toronto 950 King West | 60.5m | 18s | Intentional Capital | Sweeny &Co

The proposal and existing building look absolutely ridiculous together.
