Two shots showing the relative height of The One’s highest point (top of the core) vs 1 Bloor East. The first shot was taken from my condo, the second from around Bay & Yorkville (look at the shadow of The One’s core on 1 Bloor East’s mech penthouse). Both confirm that The One has not quite...

From my POV, the top of the core is now level with the lower half of 1BE's mechanical penthouse. Maybe by end of the month?

    Toronto skyline

Amazing shot! For a sec I thought it was a failed AI-generated image as the CN Tower's spire behind whatever that tower is (U Condos?) looks like the Empire State Building transplanted to the Toronto skyline :)

Their designs are retro-cool, but their brand name ... let's just say it sounds like a discharge from a certain male body part.

To be fair, there are only 2 suites per floor, so each suite is probably at least 1800-2000 sq ft. But $2.5 million plus $25k/year in condo fees (and ever increasing) - that's steep even for the privilege of seeing La Atwood in her dressing gown.

I'm pretty sure I saw them at Value Village

Kudos to @bowen and all the other people involved in the restoration and revitalization of this once derelict structure! I hope the silos will be lit every night (not just for special events or on weekends) and the projection will be 'screened' more than once or twice a year.

Glen Road Pedestrian Bridge (Morley Callaghan Bridge)

Update from today. First the pedestrian tunnel from Glen Rd (south of Bloor, off Howard St). Wheelchair accessible ramp north of Bloor, leading to the bridge The bridge, looking north from Bloor towards Glen Rd (Rosedale) Span of the bridge from Glen Rd Looking south from Glen Rd...

That was a pretty bold move. I wonder how successful they are in France. I may have purchased their bread while I was in Asia, but I’m no connoisseur when it comes to bakery products, so I can’t say if they’re authentic. Anyone has an opinion?

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

They should build the world's longest zipline connecting this tower to The One, sure to be a hit attraction! Alternatively, a shorter one from the roof to CN Tower's observation deck.

I'm sure he's hoping the sun doesn't go down on him before he gets to move in.

I wonder how many Torontonians think that Paris Baguette is from Paris (or at least France). It's a South Korean chain operating on a franchise model. When I was in Southeast Asia last year, I noticed they were present in almost every mid- to hi-end mall in the major cities. Not sure if they...

Can't wait to see it tomorrow night (Nuit Blanche)!

Glad they’re not compromising on quality despite the ongoing uncertainty. The worst that can happen is we’ll end up with a gorgeous (dare I say unmatched in quality?) 85-storey tower instead of a gorgeous 91-storey tower.
