    2019 Canadian Federal Election

"moderate" by what measure? Chretien is my kind of man. He's a thug, a bully, a manipulator and his French is as bad as his English, and he had a proclivity to throttle innocent bystanders mistaking them for hecklers. But he was one of Canada's most effective PMs for generations. He had...

    Ontario Northland/Northern Ontario Transportation

Even there (and there are serious drawbacks from safety and operational factors for centre median rail) the costs would still vastly outweigh the benefit. For a much lower cost, diamond/HOV/bus lanes could be built, and the benefit of the cost shared much more widely. Bus routes could diverge...

Nigel Farage milkshake madness continues in Britain lol...you obviously read the UK press. "We're only making plans for Nigel". I don't think Doog will be announcing any public outings for some time. It gives new meaning to the phrase "Gay Abandon" as to Drug's effects.

    2019 Canadian Federal Election

I have forwarded your concerns to Zontar on the planet Glug. We had our invasio....emigration plan all ready, complete with disguises to fit right into the Brampton diaspora. We are already among you.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Thank you for reply. This is what many don't realize: The TTC, Metrolinx and many Cdn agencies hide information that is freely available in other nations, even the US, even though Canada and provinces claim to make the information available. Accountability and 'Open Access' is a theory.

    2019 Canadian Federal Election

This is an interesting point. I'll be surprised if the NDP remains intact as is for the next federal election. That being said, in a minority win by the Libs or Cons, for the same reason I see the Greens and independents potentially being the tail that wags the dog, the same applies to whatever...

    Ontario Northland/Northern Ontario Transportation

And to flip that over, bus where warranted, and the massive cost of overkill with trains on those routes be applied to one of many routes with demand greater than present service provides. Funding is in short supply, best spend it where it does the most good.

Over two months since the announcement, and...nothing.

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

^ This is an excellent strategic move: Probably the best way to load the system to assess reliability and function. For the inevitable start-up glitches, it's not like they can demand their fare back.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2019/06/15/premier-doug-ford-marches-in-york-pride-parade.html York Pride 'had no idea' Ford was coming Organizers of the York Region Pride Parade say they were not told Premier Doug Ford would be marching with them. Video at link. The new Ford Stealth...

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Consistently and without controversy. Is it good politics? Of course it is, it's beyond their personal altruism, but in a positive, encompassing way. For all I hold Tory to account for, he is a good, well-meaning man. Ford is just toxic, something many Cons, but not all, are now realizing. Some...

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

It's highly commendable, for altruistic reasons, not manipulative attention getting ones. So if Ford's 'commendable' behaviour is so outstanding, why would he not announce it beforehand? Is he a public figure or not? Or was this a 'private' affair? Please, answer the latter, cuz he's in a lot...

Interesting: Note the "Crash Management" on the lower bumper protrusion: [...] https://www.ttc.ca/About_the_TTC/Commission_reports_and_information/Commission_meetings/2007/Dec_18_2007/Other/Low Floor Light Rail Vehicle - Request for Proposal - Prese.pdf Fine, find even one from the past...

    UrbanToronto Redesign

I finally got it to work, albeit it's still glitchy. It was hopeless using my email addy, so decided to try my forum moniker, still didn't work, I checked my browser (Chromium in this case) password cache, all AOK for both SkyCities and UT...so decided to use the "forgot password" link, I was...

These are the venues I had in mind. He knows he's a 'marked target' now, thus his 'pop-up' visits to gay parades.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Based on what? If hydraulically damped couplers were used (which are designed with shock (energy) absorption on all modern designs) you may have a point, although manufacturers state in their specs as to the force absorbed and the rate, modulation can even be progressive (as in suspension...

    UrbanToronto Redesign

To all sites from your UT log-in data-base? I surmise I could if I created a different identity on the other sites (presuming the data-base permits more than one identity per email and/or IP address). What's happening to me is that the log-in database is not being portable, and yet it recognizes...

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

There's been a number of instances. Anyone care to list them? I have a plan, it's a good plan: Let's invent "drive-by booing". Find out where Ford is making a public appearance, and greet him appropriately. Subsections of this tactic could involve hissing, cold-staring, and just turning backs...

Exclusive: Ontario fails to clear autism wait list by April Even though the Ford government promised that children with autism would start coming off the wait list for therapy on April 1st, CityNews has learned not a single child has been moved off of it for at least nine months. Cynthia...

Waterloo Region Transit Developments (ION LRT, new terminal, GRT buses)

Perhaps, but that sure ain't gonna happen with Dougie Dolittle as Premier. What you state is music to his ears to penalize and persecute LRT, not motorists. Fortunately for ION, they are federally as well as provincially regulated...
