    Toronto Riverhouse at The Old Mill | ?m | 11s | Lanterra | P + S / IBI

I watched the application on Rogers city hall put forth ( I'm so hard up for entertainment). The people from the environment were there and said that the parking lot had never flooded as well and then you know the rest of the storey. The environmental people also said that only about 100 trees...

    Roncesvalles Reconstruction

Agree whole heartedly, I believe the new owner of the Revue cinema tried to get something like this going for the Public School at Howard Park. It would be great for revenue for the city or even the province. As for the teachers I imagine it's most likely in their contract to get parking...

    Roncesvalles Reconstruction

Trees Thanx drum for the ttc routing info. Roncey is my favorite street in TO, it's the jewel of the city to me. I really hope during the reno that they can keep the trees just as they are, it makes the street so inviting. I've noticed lately that the parking authority or green hornets...

    Bloor/Danforth Bike Lanes

Thanx for the pix Drum 118 very nice. I really like that bridge. I'm wondering why the path wasn't built closer to the tracks, is it because of the 30 meter rule from the railroad safety act?

    Bloor/Danforth Bike Lanes

The Avenue study for Dundas West on Bloor to Keele also had plans for bike lanes there. It was also suggested at the meetings that the bike lanes would hook up with the railpath if that ever gets approved hopefully. Realistically I can't see anything happening until the Roncey street reno is...

Globe: Second NHL Team for Toronto?

Amazing Thanx Kiwi thats the most amazing render I have seen for a stadium. I can only hope the ACC one day would look that good. Even in the end if no team comes to Hamilton I really hope that a redo like this comes to fruit. The only thing I could see be a problem in the future with this...

The USA-Canada Border: Passports needed for all after June 1st?

I should of clarified my point better. It's good on a national standing but we have enough capable engineers and technicians in Toronto, but every time someone can't get in from the States the Federal government appoints people to the project from Quebec without local consultation of any kind.

The USA-Canada Border: Passports needed for all after June 1st?

I guess the real litmus test for me will be going up to the cottage this summer and counting the number of American plates present. Half the vacationers in my area up North are Americans. I work in an industry with heavy American involvement and have already found that many are unable to get...

    Toronto 1540 Bloor West | 91.9m | 27s | Trinity Group | Arcadis

Thanx Marcus A J, Hydrogen and Catcher of Cats. I knew greater minds than mine could explain it to me. Now I have a better picture of how the Quadrangle group was able to get their permit easier than Tas. Hopefully some sort of agreement will come out soon. It would be nice to see all the sites...

You should of gone to the Avenue studies that went on for over a year. I don't think that the site is dead in the water. The city is still waiting for another ttc report and that could take a while. They should of done what the Quadangle group did and just go straight to the OMB before waiting...
