I just noticed today, that the GAP at EMTC seems to be covered up oddly. I guess this matches up with the drawing on the 20vic website, but it still doesn't explain where that new store goes. :confused:

Nice catch there.. I did notice the Jack & Jones the other day (forgot to post about it though!) The Vero Moda, I did not notice though. A quick look on their site shows many, many global locations. Lot's in India, a few through the Mideast and many in Europe. No American locations...

Oh not at all.. But until two years ago, I was living in Guelph were the main Zellers location was pretty much acceptable after being converted from a Kmart. But here in the GTA? Wow, they are downright disgusting. I was simply hoping the 'change' would come sooner than later.

Oh no doubt.. But as I recall, Target's plans were to start rebranding this year.. I guess these court cases would delay that indefinetly?

So is there any update about Target and the naming issue? It's been a month or so since we've last heard any news.. Do they now already own the Zellers stores? If not, when will they?

Perhaps fine was a wrong choice of words. I know all about the failed 3rd runway, and do wish they had gotten it. While the movements are a close number, LHR gets way more larger planes than we do. This is evident by their pax-movements. YYZ is talking about hitting the 38 million mark within...

Not really.. I don't see a big need for any more runways.. The location they're planning for the runway will require moving a large cargo facility which really doesn't need moving. Keep in mind that London's Heathrow airport (far busier than YYZ) runs fine with only two runways. We don't need...

I suppose so.. They have a job fair coming up I believe on Monday for the Mississauga store, so it can't be too far out then.

The sign is already up on the store! It's located on Britannia at Silken Laumann. Behind the Tim Hortons/Wendy's. The exterior looks pretty much done already.

Quoting myself here, but had dinner here today, and it's pretty good. A messy, greasy burger, but those are kinda hard to find these days ;) Prices are a tad high (a burger costs about $6.50) but I suppose it's okay once in a while.

I find this odd too.. They closed both locations off Bristol (the other off Hurontario). My only guess is that places like Oceans were actually hurting them. Which is odd as there are enough homes in the area to justify the stores. And besides Eglinton, there aren't many other grocery stores...

Just a small update.. they moved everything into the Gap Kids location and are renovating the other half of the store. The employee there says it will take 3 months but I somehow doubt it.. That half of the store is already gutted out to the rafters so it shouldn't take more than a month or...

Which Zellers Stay Open, Which Close.. I realize it's very early in the game, but does anyone care to take a guess as to which GTA Zellers locations will stay open as Target's and which will be sold-off? Here in Mississauga, I can see them keeping both the Square One and Erin Mills...

Ah, where the Harvey's is.. I know the area.. Makes sense though, since there's already a Future Shop and Dollarama there - so it would make a good mini-plaza.
