    Toronto 335 Yonge | 55.2m | 16s | Lalani | Zeidler

If this were in Hamilton, the whole block would be deemed unsafe and demolished immediately. Next week there would be a little booth installed where you could pay for parking.

    Toronto sprawl aerial shots

Mississauga is Toronto sprawl I took these while landing at Pearson, on a flight from Ottawa. The 401 shot is landing at Pearson on my way back from Regina. The weather was bad so I didn't get many shots.

REGINA | Warehouse District, Chinatown, etc...

REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN: Part III Warehouse District The Canadian Pacific Railway was a major part of Regina's economy in the early days, leading to the creation of a large warehouse district north of downtown. Today these old buildings are finding new life with various commercial and...

    REGINA | Cathedral neighbourhood tour

Whoops! Totally forgot to number them. I really like this neighbourhood. When I went out I thought I was going to photograph the downtown area, but I got wandering and couldn't stop. This area is very walkable too, something I didn't expect to find.

    REGINA | Downtown

I was surprised at Regina too. It has some great early 20th C architecture and the downtown area is relatively large for a city of only 200K. Street life is weak, but it is still a small city and it is really, really cold (-28C my first night there) this time of year. Walking around, Regina...

Forum Issues Since Relaunch (Jan 20, 2010)

If a link to an image has capital letters in the filename, the forum keeps converting it to lower case, which breaks the link. I had to quote my entire latest photo post because the image names had upper case letters (eg, DSC_005.jpg) and none of the images would show up. There is also...

    Brantford Colborne Point | ?m | ?s | Vrancor Development

Brantford might have been third largest in Ontario sometime before 1850. It definitely would have had to compete with the likes of Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa, Hamilton and London. London has always been a sleeper city in Canada, steadily hanging out with the ten largest cities from early on...

    Moving to Quebec - Advice?

I've been working in Quebec and living in Ottawa for nearly a year... My French is limited but I find people in Quebec to be friendly and accepting. The culture is very different, but nobody has given me problems for being English. I would consider moving to Hull if not for the high income...

    What destroys you

Thanks! These are all new, except 2 or 3 that I re-edited. I've been going through the archives looking for good photos that were overlooked. I think I have enough for about two or three more threads. The guy in #60 was pretty mad, his lookout down the street had already confronted me...

Forum Issues Since Relaunch (Jan 20, 2010)

I think the main problem with usability is that thread titles don't stand out in the forums. They should be a bigger font than the usernames and other stuff.
