    Toronto First Canadian Place Rejuvenation | 298.08m | 72s | Brookfield | MdeAS Architects

I hope they don't replace it all with glass. There are enough glass towers going up as it is. Despite the so-so aesthetic of FCP, it's a part of Toronto now. When you look at the skyline we have a big honkin white thing in the middle of it all. It would be like replacing the sears tower with...

Not only is Lamb a broker and it's in his best interest to pump up the market, but he's also got his own development projects on the go. Many of which are not selling at all. http://lambdevcorp.com/main.php He's got 6 projects for sale and 2 more being released. He's in as much trouble...

That grey brick is actually a purple colour. Quite nice in person. Anybody have a shot of the sales center with the brick work and dark tinted glass? If the whole building turns out like that and there is no cheaping out on materials then it will be a great addition. Even i the...

    294 Richmond E @ Sherbourne (TLS, 6s, Sweeny &Co.) COMPLETE

Out of curiosity, do you by any chance know how large of a site you need to be able to build underground parking into a building?

lol, I'm sorry but I'm being realistic. Sounds like you might be the one dreaming. Everything you're saying might have applied 18 months ago. Not today. European investors aren't buying condos like they were. And they're certainly not coming over here to buy them, when their own real estate...

Nobody said crash, but it's got to come down.....no doubt about it. Toronto isn't unique at all. Stop dreaming. And if you're going to compare it to New York fine, but New York prices are coming down now too. A little later than the rest of the country, but it's happened. And most New...

    Toronto Exhibit Residences | 99.97m | 32s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

How do you know the smallest unit isn't 500 sq ft? At 1000/sq ft it would be way over priced. Besides, every project always has the random broom closet unit that is way smaller than everything else tossed into some corner of wasted space. They get to put on all their marketing materials...

    Toronto HighPark Condominiums | ?m | 14s | Daniels | Diamond Schmitt

Happened on McMurrich to a few historic homes. Actually they're still boarded up. They'll come down soon I'm sure. All to make way for what will likely be an ugly condo.

    Options Upgrades (caution: scary stories)

If it's just man hours they're charging for for the ceiling, I'm sure you could just get a private contractor in to do it couldn't you? Should save at least a little money one would think.

    Recommend A Restaurant in Yorkville

Toni Bulloni's It's on Cumberland just east of Avenue. Small little Italian place. Great food, good portions, fairly priced. You should be able to eat there for under 50 a plate.

    Toronto Market Wharf | 110.33m | 33s | Context Development | a—A

I've always liked Context, but these price are rediculous. 560ish/sq ft east of Yonge? There are much more affordable and dare I say more attractive options in the st lawrence market area. Liberty and Imperial lofts for example. And their prices for the penthouses are even crazier...

Why would Trump go through all that trouble developing a property when he can just have others develop it and he put his name on it for a nice fee? He shows up for one ground breaking photo-op and cashes a fat cheque. Trump is barely a "developer" anymore. He's a marketer and promoter...

Not totally true. If you ever use your residence to leverage for a loan, the "value" of the property matters and your overall worth will have increased. Just because it's not seen as cash in hand yet doesn't mean you haven't made anything.
