I've saved the very worst project in Downtown Hamilton for my last post of pictures taken this afternoon.

Looks like they're setting up the forms for the second floor slab on the east end of the site, and are working towards grade on the west end. Pictures taken today. Looking north down Bay Street: Some cool angles going on with this formwork for the walls in/around the vehicular entrance...

Just a few photos of this one from this afternoon. Not much to see at the moment, they're continuing to dig down. I don't believe it will be deep, though, one storey or two at most.

Exterior looks almost fully finished, as of today. Can't wait for the hoarding to come to down and for the new employment space in the downtown.

They've poured the seventh floor slab and some (?) of the seventh floor columns and walls on the west tower, which I believe is the last floorplate before it moves to a standard floorplate. They're one floor slower on the east tower. Pictures taken today. First, a picture looking westerly down...

All filled in. I don't imagine construction will begin for a while, though, as this still needs some approvals IIRC, and will need to go to sales. This part of downtown needs some change ASAP however.
