The house at 4 Howard Street has been demolished - quite unfortunate that it could not be integrated within the development.

Crane is gone! The tower is rising pretty quickly now. Looking forward to seeing how the Selby forecourt comes together, hopefully it will somewhat redeem this otherwise very bland building.

Just checked the project website out of curiosity... great looking building, but very pricey units (around $1,200 psf - is that normal for preconstruction now!?). $1.395M to live in this north-facing interior-corner unit cave!! 😐

Hotel portion is almost fully clad and they have started installing cladding on the tower.

That stupid faux brick building at the southwest corner is a powerful testament to the absurdity of Heritage Planning in Toronto, who insisted on it being included. What rational person would ever think that that was a superior outcome to just extending the rest of the new podium around this...

My verdict on the cladding: could be better, could be worse.
