    Toronto Union Pearson Express | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | MMM Group Limited

I agree. Look at London, Heathrow is serviced by both an express service and local subway. They both seem to make money and serve all spectrums of the population. While Toronto is much smaller than London Heathrow I still think this will be good for Toronto. I know of many business...

Dundas Sq. out of sync with surroundings...

Judging by his avitar I would suggest he may be ok with the combination of July 1st and 4th! If anything I think the coordination of Caribana, a mexican festival and a Turkish festival would promote more of what Toronto is known for. Multiculturalism and our ability to get along with each...

The Tenor (10 Dundas St E, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

Gee Thanks! I never really thought about that! And here I assumed you really could go around and just knock down things like in Simcity. Next thing you know someone is going to tell me I can't control eartquakes, tornadoes, and UFO's. Cornflakes+yellow fluid=Sir Novelty Fashion. I was...

With all the bashing going on about TLS I was wondering what changes people would propose to make it look better. I mean serious changes, not the "Implode and start again". Does anyone know why the HMV and the Salad King building were never included in the demolition of this block? It...

Head of Slips (Waterfront Toronto, West 8/DTAH)

Agreed, DSC knows his stuff. Metroman, The only bad thing is that it doesn't look like it would be possible to launch a kayak because of the location of the actual bench legs.

Head of Slips (Waterfront Toronto, West 8/DTAH)

I walked by today and they have installed metal bench supports along the lower level. They are the exact same shape as the plywood legs on the bench in the pictures. I spoke with one of the workers earlier in the week and they indicated the original bench is just a template, hence the plywood...

    Toronto's condo market booms

feelings hurt. lol! Hey! That hurts my feelings! :D I actually bought in the Aqaurius section of Waterparkcity and I love the area. Lots of jogging trails, restaurants, bars, etc. Much of the units do seem to be rentals, 2 new neighbours in 3 months, but the finish inside the building...

    TTC April 2008 Strike Thread

You are kidding right? Have I missed some new technology that is going to allow our buses and subways to be operated by remote from China? Wait! Maybe then they would actually arrive on time!

    Toronto Chelsea Green (was 33 Gerrard) | 297.25m | 90s | Great Eagle | a—A

Update So I have an update on the planned renovations. A friend who works at the hotel had a staff meeting where they explained the renovations a bit. The plans are in no way guaranteed and may not happen. 1: A convention centre situated over the current patio area off the dead end...

I guess from the location of the Shoppers sign that we are not going to see the movie signs from the render.

    Toronto Chelsea Green (was 33 Gerrard) | 297.25m | 90s | Great Eagle | a—A

Could just be a rumour but...I have a friend working in City planning that has told me the Delta Chelsea has submitted plans for a possible renovation in the near future. He says it includes some pretty impressive external changes. Just wondering if anyone has heard any rumours?

AMC Yonge & Dundas opens at Toronto Life Square

I know its a long shot at best but I always thought it would be cool to make each of those signs LED and have the movie trailer playing with the show times on a ticker below.

AMC Yonge & Dundas opens at Toronto Life Square

Sounds to me that someone may be a bit of union supporter who can't handle the fact that new technology may be slowly making older tech. obsolete. I'm a big fan of anything film related, even basic photography, but the reality is that technology evolves and makes other technologies less...

With the Bell ad not working I was thinking maybe they are adding the third ad into the Tri-vision? I really like this project. I think it is good that the building behind looks bland because I would be a lot more bitter towards this project if they created a masterpiece of architecture...

Hyatt Regency Toronto Airport (Regal Constellation site)

Correct me if I'm wrong. But I thought the West Tower was abandoned due to its close proximity to the new runway flightpaths into Pearson.

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

Anyone who buys near an aiport of any size and doesn't think the possibility of airline expansion or changes in technology may effect them is living with their head in the sand. "When I was a caveman I enjoyed the silence and outdoors of Toronto. I can't believe someone had the audasity to...

A ton of posts on what the name will be?? We don't have any determining factor other then what it is actually called. Toronto Life Square & Dundas Square, respectfully. After a few years the public will decide what slang term it will take. Who knows, several years later it may change again...
