Couldn't have said it better myself! Bear in mind that the building images you're looking at aren't true renders, just preliminary views. The upcoming renders will showcase the materials and details in a more three-dimensional manner.

Love that you see the cladding as armor. I see it as a feral tuxedo or a wild dress on a crisp jewel. You know architecture is effective when it evokes different emotions.

Interesting take! I think if we softened the edges, the design would be too mild, too apologetic.

The "big square block" are the double-storey penthouses. The idea is a wild "dress" of zinc over a pure, glass core (that is visible at retail-base and pent-house top).
