    Dufferin Street: Eliminating the jog

Hopefully they repaint the bridge when construction is complete- if they don't I'd be tempted to go down there and paint it myself. I wonder if they'd charge me... or if anyone would even notice.

Forum Issues Since Relaunch (Jan 20, 2010)

I like your header, it seems cleaner and less Martiany than the current one. I'm also having trouble finding the 1 bloor thread- which seems odd to me because I assume that it's one of the more popular threads.

    Income based traffic fines

14 days pay for doing 75 in a 50 seems a bit harsh to me. Though if I was a millionaire I wouldn't lose any sleep over 14 days pay, but as I'm not, losing half my months pay would really hurt.

    Toronto OnePark West | ?m | 13s | Daniels | Core Architects

Maybe all the developers in the city should be forced to go on Colour Confidential to choose their building colours.

    Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

colour Does anyone know what colour Aura will be? I'm hoping it'll be something different from ROCP, and not grey.

    Toronto Bloor Street Neighbourhood Condos | ?m | 32s | Cresford | Northgrave

Her PDI was scheduled for today but they cancelled last minute, the excuse being the carpet had not been installed( she has no carpet as she upgraded to hardwood throughout) when she asked about her move in date, one person mentioned the 29th, and someone else left a message with her saying the...

Whats better? Higher floor or extra den

I currently live on the 10th floor with a nice view, but after being here for 3 years I think I've spent more time waiting for the elevator than I have looking out the window. It would be nice to just walk into a 1st floor apartment without any hassles, especially if you keep a bike in your place.

    Toronto Bloor Street Neighbourhood Condos | ?m | 32s | Cresford | Northgrave

Make that 4-5 days. Friend who bought there is moving in the 23rd, and they are on the 7th floor... makes me wonder if some of the lower floors have already moved in. Personally I wouldn't want to be moving into a building with this much construction still going on.

    Directions?

Mortimer... I have a habit of switching names around.

    Directions?

I'd take Woodbine up to Milverton, then go across to Pottery road an up Bayview. To avoid Lawrence I'd cut across Blythwood and work my way over to Glencarin and take it across to Dufferin... I've never actually taken Blythwood, but the route looks good on paper.

    Toronto St. Clair West Transit Improvements | ?m | ?s | TTC

Drum, you should send those photos in to all the local newspapers- if they publish them that should put some pressure on the TTC to have it fixed.

    September 11th: Real or Fraud?

Train people to crash planes into buildings, then demolish those buildings with explosives you secretly placed there before... it makes perfect sense! I don't know how I didn't see this before.

    Toronto Casa | 147.52m | 46s | Cresford | a—A

The 1st and last look nice, though a bit sterile and grey, but that second one looks like a morgue... I'd be afraid to open those drawers!

    Global warming: Real or Fraud?

In the late 80's what were the predictions for what would happen to ocean levels, and average temperature by 2010? How close has reality matched up to the theory?... what are they currently predicting for 25 years into the future? My guess is that 25 years from now things will change just about...

    Toronto Bloor Street Neighbourhood Condos | ?m | 32s | Cresford | Northgrave

move in date A friend bought a unit on the 7th floor and her move in date is currently Dec. 22nd... coincidentally this is the final date they can go without paying penalties.

    Toronto Street Lights

Is this the Toronto street light thread or the try to impress strangers thread? In case it's the street light thread- I've always wondered why Toronto Hydro still puts up new wooden poles in some areas. Is it just about saving money?

    Toronto Bridgepoint Hospital | 61.87m | 10s | Bridgepoint Health | Diamond Schmitt

It seemed odd to me that people would be playing on that lawn, so since I was bored I thought I'd alter the render to make it slightly more realistic to what you'd actually expect to see if you were driving by...

Check out this listing (exaggeration inside)

It's technically just as close to the financial district as it is to Leslieville- so why not advertise it as a duplex in the heart of the financial district?

    Unique Houses in Toronto

It's found on Bertmount just north of Queen E. It might not be architecturally unique, but it sure is unique. I wonder what the neighbours think? They alter some of the design depending on the season- especially for Halloween and Christmas.

    Toronto Emerald Park Condos | 128.92m | 40s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

I too think the green would be a welcome addition, but part of me is worried Bazis will pull a crystal blu and just tack on some green emeralds onto the base.
