Today, we can be happy about at least two things in our neighbourhood. 1. Berczy Park fountain is running again: 2. Esplanade street redesign east of Jarvis. TTC and wheelchair transport is improved and given priority. Also, bidirectional cycle tracks coming in.

New service increase will be announced mid or end of the coming week. Finally! However, just a written formal announcement without the big show of politicians as it is election period. Wonder if express service on Lakeshore is coming back. Does anyone know? @smallspy maybe?

Thank you @smallspy for responding. So with the Victoria weekend starting on Sat 21 May service will be increased or with the following Tuesday? So far the Niagara Falls train will be running in the long Victoria Day weekend based on my source.

Still no official announcement of increased GO service. Seems likely something coming next week. Maybe @smallspy can enlighten us?

The word on the street is that we can expect GO train service reinstated to Niagara Falls by the long weekend. However, no one at Metrolinx is allowed to say anything right now. Guess it’s in the hand of the big political leaders of this province. Maybe we’ll see an announcement next week...

Eagerly waiting for updated and hopefully significantly increased GO train service on all lines. No train to Niagara Falls on weekends is sad! Who can enlighten us what to expect and when?

Recently, I saw streetcars on Adelaide St. close to Church St. Today, it seems it was a streetcar in service. Before I saw usually only testing. In all cases, the streetcar is stopping quite some time at that corner. Is this for the upcoming diversion because of Ontario line station...

Watching very closely progress of construction on Wellington St. Some activity at least 😂

Why should Market St. not closed after September? In Nov and Dec. this is the place for a Christmas market. Leading also up into Market Lane and around. This would activate the whole area. Québec City had three women doing this exactly with huge success!

@DSC do you know if Market St. will be open for pedestrians only 7 days a week? Last time it was only for a couple of hours. Thank you.
