    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

I think it should just be a red diamond, the splash of color while still staying restrained would be welcome to this area.

    Toronto The Gloucester on Yonge | 147.82m | 44s | Concord Adex | a—A

Not the world's biggest fan of this building, nothing particularly noteworthy about it other than the setback. That spot could have been used for something more interesting looking.

    Toronto Yonge and Scollard | 167.5m | 49s | Cityzen | KPMB

Not sure how I feel about the marble at ground level but the rest of it looks great.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

The southcore desperately needed this building for a texture/materials/massing change.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

I'm okay with all kinds of photos as long as the building in question is in them. This building is not actually going to be purple is it? Shame if not.

What you guys fail to realize is that there will be two of these beauties.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Excited for tower 2 but yeah this needed to be a dozen more meters taller than the other south core towers.

It's a very strong addition to the south core.

The city needs to regulate the use of spandrel.

Toronto Manulife Centre Podium and Streetscape Renewal | 9.75m | 2s | Manulife Real Estate | MdeAS Architects

If they touch the manulife building in any way I will personally lead a revolt. They're pushing their luck with this podium as it is.

    Toronto PJ Condos | 156.96m | 48s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

The contrast between the brick on the sides and glass in the middle is quite nice though.

    Toronto 401 Bay Street | 143.86m | 33s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

I like it. I mean the crown is pretty horrific but the rest of it is pretty standard fare.

    Toronto Quay House | 73.15m | 21s | Empire | Kirkor

Did they seriously make a 2br out of 623 sqft?

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

So we're topped out? At 240m this should look taller than Harbor Plaza, but it doesn't?

    Toronto 401 Bay Street | 143.86m | 33s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

Can someone explain to me why the solid concrete crown is being reclad in glass. That doesnt make sense.

Toronto Manulife Centre Podium and Streetscape Renewal | 9.75m | 2s | Manulife Real Estate | MdeAS Architects

I like it, the glass is a great contrast to the brutalist concrete.

    Toronto The Residences of 488 University Avenue | 206.95m | 55s | Amexon | Core Architects

The window wall on the residential portion looks terrible and the tower is very bland. Don't understand the praise. Its only saving grace is the office portion.

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Double the height is 500m, which would be disproportionate to the rest of the skyline and the CN tower in this area. 270m would be the sweet spot for this.
