    Leaside

Yes but it doesn't have drive through capability and there are very few parking spaces or anyplace inside to eat. I'm talking about a proper restaurant style location, not an express.

I certainly don't want to see this happen, but what about a Tim Horton's with drive through? As best I can tell there isn't one anywhere in the immediate area and the franchise can't seem to lose.

Fair enough, but any number of retail stores could be successful here, and I'd personally rather see something that isn't already in the vicinity.

I don't think the area needs another LCBO as there's one in the Smart Centres Plaza south of Eglinton at Leaside (~4-5 minutes from this site). Also, as a resident of this immediate area, I can tell you that the traffic at Bayview and Broadway can get brutal during rush hour(s). This would...

    Toronto Legacy, Ultra, and Yorkland at Heron's Hill | ?m | 40s | Mattamy Homes | Graziani + Corazza

I'm liking the building so far. The floor height seems to vary quite a bit over the first five or so floors.

I can't believe how dark that glass is.....wonder how it will affect the suite (view, daylight, etc.)?

Thanks for the update Solaris! According to Cityzen, phase one is expected to be officially topped out mid-May, at which point they will hopefully be mailing out the first confirmed occupancy letters. As it stands now, the most recent info I have is a tentative move in date of sometime in...

Isn't it all patio furniture? Also, as taal mentioned, this is clearly a temporary location only. I've yet to see anyone actually shopping there since it opened and have passed by a number of times.

Toronto Aga Khan Museum + Ismaili Centre | ?m | ?s | Aga Khan Dev. | Maki and Associates

I've been told that the Aga Khan will be in Toronto next month, though I haven't heard whether the official ground breaking will take place. I'm crossing my fingers that this thing finally starts moving.

Bash_Maistor, there should be no units whatsoever listed for resale at this time as that is strictly prohibited as per the Agreement of Purchase. Menkes did not want people "flipping" during the construction period (at least, that's how it was when I bought in 2007 and when a friend bought in...

    Toronto Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto | 207.86m | 53s | Graywood | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Wow, those are brilliant pictures, thanks for sharing. Question regarding that balcony.....I'd have to imagine that at that height it would be quite windy, perhaps too windy to actually use it. Any thoughts?

I think people on the lower floors of both buildings may get to move in by year's end, but we'll see. Floorplans for the towns have been posted at www.ariatowns.com Of the 41 towns, 29 have apparently already been sold!

A quick update: - Phase 1 looks to be nearly done the final floor of condo's. I suspect there is likely going to be another floor for mechanical and that should be it. - The Aria Towns have been released (currently in the VIP/broker stage). There was a line up of people for the towns a few...

Forum Issues Since Relaunch (Jan 20, 2010)

I've found that all pages tend to take a bit longer to load now since the addition of the large block header.

A friend passed by the site yesterday and took the following......looks like it's progressing well. Phase one on the left, phase two on the right.

Legacy, Ultra, Yorkland @ Heron's Hill Condos (Monarch Homes) - Real Estate

While I can't comment on prices for your particular project, I can tell you that at Aria the cost to upgrade to undermount sink was about $500 (price includes the cost of the new sink, as well as labour to install and polish/finish the granite counter). The cost for the smooth ceiling was...

Very informative, thanks. On Global news at 6:00pm they did a piece on the project and announced that pricing ranges from $380,000's to $1,500,000's. They made no mention of suite sizes.

Welcome to Urban Toronto YYZ_M. Which phase are you in? With respect to the issue you mentioned, unfortunately this happend to us as well (twice): 1) After our initial colour selction appointment, we went home and reviewed the invoice. Everything looked correct, however the math didn't...

A new (smaller) crane has been put up bringing the total number back to two (one for each phase). I suspect that they got rid of the original phase 2 crane since it would have interfered with the installation of cladding. The new crane looks to be running up the elevator shaft of phase 2.

That's what I've heard also. The current Centre Sports is terribly undersized.
