    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I agree with the article. There are people that will lose a lot money in Trump Tower, Shangri La, Cinema Tower Condos, Ice Condos and a few more I know of. This is mainly due to investors that don't do any research and/or rely on their agents that do not give good advice. Rather telling...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

The Bank of Canada has lowered their 5 year rate to an all time low of 4.99%. This is the "qualifying rate" used by banks to qualify clients for mortgages. I have also seen the 2.94% 4 and 5 year mortgages being offered again. Fixed rates are moving down folks.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

This market is officially on fire! Detached is leading the way with bidding wars in many parts of the GTA. Looks like majority is end user demand.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I have read Mr. Tal's articles he does not have a clue about real estate. Very sad actually hes been calling for a downtick for a long time and has been wrong every time Cn could probably get him on the were going back to 1930's pricing bandwagon.

Dundas Square Gardens (Easton's Group) - Real Estate -

Never fails to amaze me how developers will stoop to such low levels to deceive potential buyers. Lesson to everyone.. always buy from a builder with a strong reputation not these fly by night ops.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I would check those numbers to TREB. The downtown condo appreciated ~25% in 2007 alone and does not include the surges after the credit crisis. This period was probably the best for returns.. and we may never see gains like that again.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Thanks for sharing Glen. When inflation is factored in it makes the recent run up in prices seem less significant. Meaning Toronto is far cheaper from a price perspective. That doom and gloom fictional novel maybe a good read aandis a very American perspective. Don't really see anything that...

Ïce Condos (Lanterra Developments, Cadillac Fairview) - Real Estate -

Agree with you - I think Lanterra learned a lot from their previous buildings where shotty construction was the cause of huge problems and some of the lawsuits going on sent them a strong message. From what I saw at the colour selection appointments, finishes will be far better than MLS and HR...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

And condos may or may not be overpriced .. but the reality is that the average 416 detached is 900+k and towns are mid 500k so for less than 500k the only option other than the hood will be condos. Up up and away Thank CNs boy Jimmy Finance minister for that one! $$$$$

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

In very few instances we will see units worth less than what people paid. This is mainly because of irresponsible agents that sold trusting clients units priced over $750 per sq foot. These buyers will lose money after closing costs and commissions. But they likely have 20-25% down so would...

Ïce Condos (Lanterra Developments, Cadillac Fairview) - Real Estate -

What exactly does that mean? My units there have different types of sliders. One bedrooms with double sliders were glass and two bedrooms with the slider for the 2nd bedroom were like a wooden door on wheels. There is no indication of what sliders they are using for Ice in the features and...
