    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Yeah I’m close enough to get these notices. Sure seems like we’re wasting a lot of trees for something we could all get massed email about. I wouldn’t read the emails but at least I wouldn’t be wasting a tree.

    Mississauga M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

And that is literally Toronto. Most of Toronto will always be suburban. Agincourt. Downsview. Upper Forrest hill. All suburbs. Different types. But all suburbs. Even the TTC on their map has a downtown section labeled out. Because not every part of Toronto is some urban utopia.

You were super generous with the term “fair.” I think if you wrote your thesis at the beginning you wouldn’t have ended with the term “fair.” At least it doesn’t read… “fair”

    Mississauga M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

This conversation doesn’t even make sense because it’s no longer about what people want or at least what the older traditional suburb people want. There’s simply no more land to build single detached houses. Which means we can only build up. And to make the finances work we’re building 50+...

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 Crosstown West Extension | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Does that mean more expensive? Brampton deserves it. So I’m OK with it. They’re reasonable people.

Ship them to Brampton to help make their city centre an urban utopia not wrecking their lovely Main Street.

2024 Mississauga Mayoral Byelection Transit Plans

It’s a full proof plan for politicians. The same as kicking and crying is a full proof plan for residents. Both parties equal to blame. As for this councillor as mayor I recently called up to ask about how the city promised Bianca a street named after her on September 15 2019. If you can’t...

    Mississauga Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

Visit confederation street in 2024. It’s a night and day difference. Square one lands is just huge. So some areas haven’t gone through the shift. And the oldest condos never had any businesses in their ground floor. But anything that went up post 2000 did. Parkside is a success. And I’m sure...

The libraries also carry video games and nicki minaj cds. Libraries aren’t what they used to be. Now you could be illiterate and still find something for you to enjoy. Well you might need help finding the section but you know what I mean.

    Mississauga Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

If you live in any of the buildings near square one you walk to the shops at the condos ground floor or to square one. The problem is that there isn’t enough buildings just yet. I don’t believe for the most part people from places like parkside or m city are driving their cars to square one. And...

    Mississauga Exchange District Condos | 232m | 72s | Camrost-Felcorp | Arcadis

The parkside village area has a bunch of foot traffic. But if you look at a building like this. It’s completely isolated. There would be no reason for people to be around. So there won’t be foot traffic until the entire section gets redone. I’m sure parkside progressively got more pedestrians as...

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

We went from these large sized ones to this smaller one. Less glass to smash. No where to move into.

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

We got rid of shelters because of vandalism. People can complain but that’s the facts. Shelters were like our subway systems elevators. Constantly under maintenance . I understand viva where a bus comes randomly every half hour but this will be a high frequency route and it’s just an upfront...

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

If the LRT is supposed to be there every five minutes I don’t understand the need to build stations. Seems like a waste of money. Stations get vandalized. It becomes housing for others. And this is not Quebec City which has winters in the -30s.

    Mississauga Streetsville Centre Plaza Redevelopment | 60.6m | 15s | Dezen | srm Architects

That library is smaller than most of the houses in the area. It surely can fit more appropriately in the base of one of these condos. Half the library is underground, dark and dingy. We could be adding more people and a better library to the area.

    Mississauga Streetsville Centre Plaza Redevelopment | 60.6m | 15s | Dezen | srm Architects

I absolutely hate this plaza and it makes streetsville a joke in comparison to something like unionville. But this is the best they can come up with. Yikes. It looks like it’s staggered to give everyone a view more than it is about function or about reviving a Main Street.

How is this only at the 10% design stage?!!!!

    Mississauga 88 Park | 131.5m | 36s | Edenshaw | Core Architects

This makes sense. We can build 50s at cooksville with no all day go access. We can build 70 at MCC with a bus. And where there’s all day go service 36 is a respectable and sensible limit.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

This sh*t makes me want not only all day service to cooksville but a subway too. Numbers don’t justify that but numbers don’t justify this. Just cry loud and long and get the sh*t you want.
